Bottoms Up

Finally, the holidays are coming to a close. It already feels like it has been an eternity. This is a real inconvenience to me. All the people of note in my life are gone with their familes (as it should be), the library is closing for the duration so there goes my internet. I don't really have anywhere to go or a place to be so I have decided to throw myself a one-man party consisting of a 2-day non-stop alcohol drinking binge. As matter of fact, I have already gotten started. If my calculations are correct, this will induce the necessary amnesia to forget the rest of the holidays as they will become a complete blur. It will be just like leaning on the forward button until everything zips straight into the New Year. However, as I continue this process I have come to quite an astounding epiphany. Alcohol really isn't that great tasting. Why do we even bother with this stuff at all. Not to mention the added repurcussions during the aftermath. There is always most certainly some sort of regret attached. If only someone would invent a way to become fully inebriated without the deleterious side-effects. That product would be hotter than facecrack. The universe would never allow it, of course. Hangovers are nature's way of saying "That's enough." Oh well, I guess I'll just cure those hangovers with more booze as prescibed by doctors. Besides, it's like they pain, no gain. Cheers to memory loss.

Until next year...

You truly are almost as crazy as some of my foreign student friends in Russia. Almost. Hopefully you made it through to the new year haha.

  2. Still in one piece :)
