Year of the Dragon

So according the the Chinese Zodiac, 2012 marks the Year of the Dragon.. which just so happens to coincidentally be the year that I was born in. I guess in essence this is my year to make things happen. I went ahead and did a little bit of research on this particular sign and dug up this..

..I'm not sure if I embody any or all of these characteristics, Horoscopes have a tendency to be a tad bit overgeneralized (although I will admit that pride is pretty dead-on accurate). I do find it curious that the Dragon is the only mythological creature on the Chinese Zodiac. Something tells me that the year 2012 is going to be one hell of a ride.

I would think the Dragon might have trouble functioning in our world of rules and regulations and don't do this. Takes some very creative thinking to survive all that.

  3. "the year 2012 is going to be one hell of a ride." Agreed!! My motto for this year, though: IGBOK 2012.

I'm so envious of your horoscope, the year of the dragon. I was born in the year of the pig. I'm a big, fat, bloated swine that rolls in his own filth and is cooked for bacon. You're a majestic, bad ass, mythical creation. I feel so cheated.

  6. You are not cheated the pig is a beautiful creature and people born in this year are very patient and understanding, also very caring and thoughtful of others, and will do just about anything for a friend.
So smile as you are blessed

  7. Haha.. I'm going to have to agree with Paula on that one. Don't be too hard on yourself. I read that pigs are actually one of the cleanest animals around!
